Fashion Design Alumni and faculty at ASDP
Fashion Design alumnus and couture designer, Michael Faircloth, was invited to speak in the annual conference of Association of Sewing & Design Professionals (ASDP) on Saturday, October 20th. Former Professor, Marian O'Rourke-Kaplan led a workshop on creation of unique details through component design titled "Details, Details. Associate Professor Anny Chang taught in a workshop for fashion sketching and drawing. In addition, 2011 graduate, Michael Crigger was selected to be one of the jurors and fashion show commentator.

Faculty recognized at the YWCA RAGS 24th Wearable Art
In the 24thannual RAGS Wearable Art Sale and Juried Gallery presented by YWCA RAGS on March 8th, Associate Professor Li-Fen Anny Chang RAGS received “Garment Award” for design “The Scorpio”. Seventy-two artists were selected to present artworks in the four-day exhibition and seven awards were announced in the opening gala event. Previously, Professor Chang received the “Best Garment Award” in 2016 for design “Urbane Rebel.”
